Sanford Breast Health Institute celebrates 20th anniversary by spreading awareness at Empire Mall
As décor from the holiday season comes down, the Empire Mall and Sanford will adorn the space in pink. Ceiling mobiles, banners, window clings and awareness pieces will be scattered throughout the mall. Furthermore, a free breast health awareness book will be available to all women to help them learn more about breast health.

John E. Neiderhuber, MD Delivers Presentation on Cancer Care in the 21st Century
On Thursday, December 3, John E. Niederhuber, MD held a webcast to discuss what the future holds for cancer care. Dr. Neiderhuber, the Director of the National Cancer Institute (NCI) and a nationally renowned surgeon and researcher, has dedicated his four-decade career to the treatment and study of cancer. Sanford Cancer Center to Host National Art Exhibit

Sanford Cancer Center is honored to welcome the Oncology On Canvas art exhibit November 9-13. Oncology On Canvas honors the journeys traveled by millions of people affected by cancer worldwide through a variety of artwork created by cancer patients, families and caregivers. The traveling exhibit was created to raise awareness of the benefits of art as a powerful tool that allows people with cancer to share their emotional journey.

Sanford Cancer Center continues to grow – opening a new floor dedicated to hematology and oncology services. This expansion moves Sanford’s hematology and medical oncology physicians, clinical team, support services, infusion center, and oncology pharmacy to Sanford Cancer Center..

Every seven minutes a woman is diagnosed with gynecologic cancer and about 80,000 women are diagnosed each year. Maria Bell, MD, MPH, FACOG, FACS, and Jenny Torgerson, PA-C, will be running in a race to honor their patients and all women who have been diagnosed with a gynecologic cancer.
