Sanford's Dr. John Lee Honored by American Cancer Society The American Cancer Society has honored Sanford Clinic Ear, Nose & Throat Specialist John Lee, MD, FACS as one of this year’s 2010 American Cancer Society (ACS) Champions. Dr. Lee is one of only two people presented this award at the ACS gala event, "Lights, Camera, Action…For a Cure,” on March 26 at the Washington Pavilion in downtown Sioux Falls.
Sanford Breast Health Institute celebrates 20th anniversary by spreading awareness at Empire Mall As décor from the holiday season comes down, the Empire Mall and Sanford will adorn the space in pink. Ceiling mobiles, banners, window clings and awareness pieces will be scattered throughout the mall. Furthermore, a free breast health awareness book will be available to all women to help them learn more about breast health.

Sanford Cancer Center is honored to welcome the Oncology On Canvas art exhibit November 9-13. Oncology On Canvas honors the journeys traveled by millions of people affected by cancer worldwide through a variety of artwork created by cancer patients, families and caregivers. The traveling exhibit was created to raise awareness of the benefits of art as a powerful tool that allows people with cancer to share their emotional journey.
